Death/doom band from California that released one full-length in '96 before splitting. After Divine Eve disbanded the main songwriter moved and continued making the same style music under this new moniker (before splitting again and returning back to Divine Eve). Anyways, killer stuff, they definitely warrant their own thread. Not much to discuss considering they're no longer active and only have one album but rather another hidden gem that needs to be uncovered. Hopefully everyone hasn't heard of them already.

Wow that cover art is great, as much as i love Divine Eve i've yet to check this out,so far it reeks of Celtic Frost styled oppressiveness, sounds right up my alley.

Acid probably makes you feel less like a hedonistic raver piece of trash, too.

I prefer Crimson Relic to Divine Eve though I've only heard Vengeful and Obstinate by them. And YouTube's sound quality obviously doesn't do the band any justice. The production is pretty clear considering the style and time period.

Yeah i enjoy the aesthetics of it, pretty dirty, not entirely filthy.I will say now that i've gone through the album a bit some of the songs feel a bit like filler. Divine Eve's- "As The Angel's Weep" basically takes the best parts of early swedish DM like Nihilist, and add on that oppressive, doomy,Celtic Frost vibe.

Yeah, this is a bit more like Crimson Relic (or vice versa I suppose). Not bad, definitely better than Vengeful and Obstinate. I'm gonna have to disagree on the filler comment though; give it a few spins to sink in.
