Hey, ive been practicing drums every once in a while when im near a drum set. I know how to read drum music but i was wondering if there was a good book to help me learn
Once my students graduate to the drum set I give them "Progressive Drum Method". You can get it on amazon for $15 or so. It has great reading drills and stuff you will actually like to play.

The best part is, once you finish the book you can go back to the beginning and play through it again with the metronome set up a few more BPM.

I will always stress rudiments and the necessity to practice them. Rudiments are to the drums as chords are the guitar. You may not need to know them all, but to call yourself a drummer you should know a few.
Plus one on "Progressive drum method", it's a great tool.
