Just Purchased this guitar. I got a great deal. Great feel and plays well. I am going to need a new bridge pickup. Any ideas?

How about telling us why you're going to need a new bridge pickup and what you hope to achieve with the upgrade?

First of all sorry for not giving more info. I play Heavy Metal. The bridge pickup installed in the guitar has a light sound under high gain. Even with my pedal on it doesn't have the growl I like. Just looking for an upgrade. Either a Dimarzio or a Duncan.

Thanks for thew response

I'd go Dimarzio D-Activators, DSonic, Crunchlab or X2N, maybe an Evolution. As far as Seymour Duncan, Invader, Full Shred or Dimebucker. Also look into Bill Lawrence pickups, and Dragonfire pickup sets. Dragonfire pickups are great for the price, and sell on ebay for cheap.

It is quite a good guitar I agree, the tremelo and the pick ups are something less then desired though. I usually can only get only muddy cleans or piercing distortion, but I sometimes find sweet spots
