Excellent guitar work. I can see why the Metallica comparison was made, but I thought it was more Iron Maiden-ish.

With some better drums, a bass line and some more Maiden style harmonising going with lead guitars (especially early in the tune) on it could be awesome.

Here's a thought for you: There's probably enough different ideas there for you to use a couple of the sections as verses & choruses, with some lyrics added you could create an epic trilogy of songs.

Sounds pretty good man, not my style (I'm not a huge fan of metallica and thats what it reminds me of) but it's still cool. Great guitar tone too, nice and punchy. For drums i would highly reccomend Superior Drummer 2.0, they sound AMAZING. Better than some real drums I've heard haha. But yea great job no criticisms from me

Pretty good!
I wish I could record my ideas like that... but without a proper mic and sound editing software that wont happen =/

Yeah the drums don't sound that nice, especially the cymbals. A coupe of people have been recommending some products... I'm haven't used them all, but Steven Slate Drums works very well for me so you could take a look at that.
Anyway the actual music is good though! Tone of guitars is decent and the playing is very tight. The clean part is good, gives it something different to the song. I liked the solo a lot, only thing I'd say is that it could be longer. I was enjoying it, didn't want it to end so soon!

C4C? (it's also a metal instrumental )
