AMP 3A

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14810004/guitar%20made%20muziek/falling%20leaves%20v1.0.m4a
AMP 1B ( the best channel IMO )

sorry for inaccurate playing, lost my v-pick and didn't find ik that quick..

I finaly made up my NAD.

Sorry for the bad pics, took with my ipod. Will upload better pics ASAP... And of course CLIPZ!!

Here are some pics of my HUGE and HEAVY amp:

REVIEW:

This amp is a beast, the cleans are really nice.

I really love it's gain stage building ( go from clean to really overdriven sounds and everything in between )

Specs:

-Preamp: 4 X E83CC and 4 X 12AX7A tubes
-Poweramp: 1 X 12AX7A and 4 6L6GC tubes
-Power: 100 Watts
-weight: 59,9 lbs / 27 KG

It is seperated in 3 different "amps", but there is a A and a B section ( so kinda a 6 channel amp )

AMP 1 ( Fender )

A, here it all starts, the cleans are really nice. This AMP is a little too bassy imo, but still usable for the cleans in all metal songs.

B, great clean channel with some overdriven tone. Extremely usefull for Billy Talent etc.

AMP 2 ( Marshall-like )

A, Great pop / rock tone. Great for bands like green day etc ( i DON'T play green day )

B, very specific hotrodded marshall tone, good for early Metallica. A bit too trebbly for Megadeth ( correct if im wrong )

AMP 3 ( lead-tone )

A, very tight tone, think Trivium, it really has enough balls to do metalcore, even on this channel

B, it drives the 3A channel to a whole other dimention, i can't really explain it well, the clips will show.

It cost me 600€ for the head and 200€ for the cabinet.

The head is heavier than the cabinet O_o

Thanks for reading.

As said before: will upload better pics and clips of all channels soon!!!
When you have specific requests, just say in here or PM me..

Thanks for reading

as i said in your thread before, if it's anything like the mk II, that's a killer deal
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

INDEED!!!! 13 tubes, wtf!!!!

One small question: the most right preamp tube is a 12AX7A highgrade, what does it mean, i really have no idea, as does google..

Another factor that has grown this myth is a bunch of opinionated guys who really don't know what they're talking about, which to be brutally honest is a bunch of you guys on here.

Thanks, but i don't really understand what's this difference between the highgrade and the others. The highgrade one is in a iron-looking thing ( looks kinda weird for a tube )

That's the mk2, i only have the mk1. The mk2 is like 1000€ more expensive USED!!
and it's turned off BTW

Im not that rich atm, maybe some day i can make a NAD of the mk2...

Don't forget i'm just a 17 year old who needs to live with odd jobs

Ah, fair enough. I guess you could always just add a few blue LED's yourself.
Nice amp though. Good score.

From what I can gather its better. It doesn't as many bells and whistles but it has a more organic/classic sound to it. It is a bit less modern sounding than the mkII. I also happen to know Tunder got a very, very, very good deal on it. So much so I hate him for getting it before I found it I've seen these go for 1100+.

Anyway, should sound pretty good through the cab I sold him

Haha, yeah, I really jumped on this amp ( like 5 minutes after it was online xD )

It has as many knobs and things like the mkII

The guy who sold the TriAmp wanted to know how his amp sound on your cabinet and he liked it, lol

It's a awsome cabinet!!!
( Sorry it doesn't have a NCD, but i got nothing to compare with it... xDD )
