So I picked up a keyboard the other day, and I've been messing around in my spare time attempting to teach myself to play it. I was just wondering if anyone here knew of any decent sites with lessons, tips, or techniques on left and right hand coordination, and other such things that would be necessary to learn on piano.

I already know basic chords and all that, but I'm not entirely sure on proper fingerings, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You, good sir, have not gone over to your friends house after a hard night of drinking to find 2 dudes passed out in the same room both holding their own flaccid cocks in hand, passed out, with porn on the tv.

Google whatever you need.

I got over a million hits for: correct piano technique.

8notes.com (might be .net, I'm on my phone so I can't be sure) to teach you music theory, scales, chords, and whatnot.

hm, not entirely sure since I had a piano teacher, but you could try using books that are meant for beginners. I know a lot of them have techniques on how to use the right fingering.

Since you are not a beginner to music in general you could probably move through them really quickly and get to more advanced stuff, and know now some proper technique.

One thing my piano teacher always told me though, is to do what feels natural. Theres are some things, octaves, trills, chromatics, ect where you will want the right technique, but for just playing through a song, do whatever feels comfortable.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Edit: Yea, I would check out 8notes. It's pretty useful.

Thanks guys. Normally I'd sift through google links for a couple hours, but I figured I'd see if anyone here had already done that for me. lol. I appreciate the help guys.

Any songs you'd recommend I learn to start out? Right now I'm just trying to work some stuff out for my songs.
