We all have different views of what is impressive, so it is time to share-
It may be a video, a picture or a fact, whatever you want. We'll learn something and be impressed along the way.

I'll start us off with a small but impressive act by Laurence Harvey, who played colonel Travis in The Alamo from 1960.

They were filming a scene in which he fires a cannon as a response to a surrender demand. The violent recoil caused the massive cannon to come down on his foot, breaking it. He didn't even blink until John Wayne had called "Cut!", after which he screamed in pain. Wayne praised his professionalism.

Now that is impressive! Off you go!

Just thinking about how massive the universe is. Another thing is thinking about how humans have gone from pretty much living like animals in the wild all the way to the technology we have today. It's pretty insane.

****ing this.

And ****ing technology. Not any tech in particular. Absolutely all of it. I even marvel at Chimps and Orangutans using sticks to eat ants.

That being said, I'm amazed by the human brain, the organ partly responsible for technology. (I say 'partly bcause we'd be nowhere without opposable thumbs.)

I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
