Alright, I got 2 kittens recently. One is older than the other, but the older one is not the one I'm wondering about.

They are from two different litters, and the older one is much more independent. The younger one, likes company and won't relax without it. Maybe it's cause he's just recently been separated from his sisters. Anyway, this cute ball of fur is too small to sleep on my bed (I have a loft bed) because he couldn't get down, but when I put him somewhere else, he follows me. I'm not sure what to do with him, as I want to head to sleep soon.

Any ideas of what to do?

Wrap a ticking clock in a towel, and put it in with the kitten.

Apparently the ticking of the clock comforts them, as a regular beat mimics their mothers heartbeat.

Pooping is well good though, to be fair.

That's an idea. I might try that, if I can find one around the house.

Chain him in the basement.

mum was looking after someones kitten for the weekend and **** was it clingy...I'd wake up and she'd be sleeping on my chest when no one was home, another day it was playing in my room waiting for me to wake up and ended up making too much noise therefore waking me up.

it would insist on sleeping on you rather than near you...really annoying.
yo.

I would sleep on the floor or on a couch.

Not a bad idea either. I think I'll do that, as I can't find a clock to use.

Thanks for..*cough* all these *cough* fantastic answers. Please keep suggestions going, I wont sleep on the floor forever.

Metronome? Anything that makes a regular ticking should work.

Ahh, didn't try that. I'll do so, and see if that works. Thanks.

Behead 'em, skin 'em, and make tamales.

Cats make excellent tamales.

I'm sorry.. But you're going to have to curb stomp it. It wont be pretty, but it's necessary.

Just make sure you do it on a tiled floor so it's easy to clean up.

I wouldn't sleep on it, in case you roll over in your sleep and acidentally suffocate it as it still is only a kitten, I would get some sort of box and line it with a blanket for it to sleep in. it sounds adorable though I want to get a kitten but I don't think my cat would be too impressed

When I got my cat she wanted to sleep on the bed with me, everytime she gotup on there I just put her under the bed in a little box with a pillow (she loved it)

Ass to mouth. But seriously why not keep it in a kennel or makeshift cage?

You are EXTREMELY WRONG! I have played it. I own an 18W and it would be an awful stereo amp, it's way too bright, breaks up too easily and so on. Secondly, why would a guitar store sell an hifi amp.

Give it to me.
