Hey there UG community.. So yeah, I gotta mic but no instructions and I can't find anything solid so here's my question, what's up with the kill switch inside the mic? is it good? I find when I use it, it gets rid of a lot of room sound but my friend said it also loses a TON of tone from your voice, is that true? because I'd like to know, any knowledge on kill switches you'd like to depart from would be much appreciated!!

its used when your signal is too loud like a very loud amp, or someone with a very powerful voice singing close.

It doesnt take out ''tone'' out of the sound, just makes the signal weaker.¸¸

youre probly hearing less room cuz your signal is less loud therefore you hear the roomm natural reverb less.
