Can anyone recommend any good classical guitar books? I probably am at an intermediate level but if i am totally honest dont really listen to classical guitar so don't know what i should be playing. Just after something that will be a challenge and ideally a couple of sounds the misses will recognise.
Ferdinando Carulli wrote a timeless little book on how to play classical guitar -- a great place to start.
Ben Bolt's "J.S. Bach for Acoustic Guitar" is really great, IMO. It's got some lovely arrangements of well-known and not-so-well-known-but-equally-beautiful Bach pieces, in both standard notation and tablature, so you're covered. It also has a CD, so you can get a feel for the pieces before you begin playing.
