Hi, this might be a daft question but.....

I've got a ME-25 which is ok as i'm just starting out (8 months). I've seen a marshall V112 80w cab close to me going fairly cheap.

Can i hook them up easy enough? and if so would it sound ok do you reckon? I like metal but i'm playing all sorts at the minute.

I've just seen a Bugera 333xl go for £160 on ebay and i was so tempted but i think it would have made my house collapse.

Why not just buy an amp?
Guitars: Fender FSR Standard Strat, Squire Affinity Strat, Epiphone Nighthawk
Amps: Vox AC15C1, Roland Cube 15x, Peavey KB-1
Pedals: Digitech RP355, HD500, Joyo AC-Tone, EHX Soul Food

I suppose you could use the me25 as a preamp (not really what it's for) but you'd still need to buy a poweramp.

Isn't that a valvestate cab? There's a reason it's cheap.

You'd probably be best off with a new amp. What are you currently playing through?

Another factor that has grown this myth is a bunch of opinionated guys who really don't know what they're talking about, which to be brutally honest is a bunch of you guys on here.

Blackstar ht-1. It's ok on its own but with the effects going through it sounds, well, small because it is I suppose.

Yeah, you'll probably want some more headroom so the me 25 sounds fuller if you know what I mean.

Well yeah, that's why I was asking about hooking up a cab, but i didn't know i'd need a power amp so thanks for that bit.

What about a studio or stage monitor?

Would I need a power amp with these too?

No it doesn't, jacks only.

Thanks for your help by the way.

You could get a keyboard amp like this to amplify the me25. http://www.samash.com/p/Peavey_KB1%201x8%20Keyboard%20Amplifier_-49968605

Many people do this and say it works well.
