I know it may sound like a silly question, but why are there 2 input jacks on my Fender Deluxe guitar amp? Is it so two guitars can be plugged in to the same amp or something to do with when the amp is hooked up to another amp in stereo?

Ahright ok, so what is the advantage of this feature?

It's just for if you have a guitar with some quieter pickups or something. There's about 8 db of difference between the two inputs, so if you're running EMGs you might want to use the low gain input because EMGs are already pushing hard. Then again you might want to push the amp as much as possible by running the EMGs through the high gain input.

I've always used the high gain input.
