Hey guys, I have a pod 2.0 and I was wondering which amp model I should use to get that 80s hair metal tone? Right now I'm using an 89 solando 100 model with the mids, treble and presence MAXed....just wondering if there's a better alternative on this thing?

KRAMER Striker600ST (from 86)

You maxed the EQ?

Have you tried adjusting the EQ settings before posting this online?

So if it's too bass-y shouldn't you turn down the bass?

For 80's tone on anything: Lot's of prescence, not alot of bass. Mids and Trebs to your liking.

Line 6 Pod 2.0s are pretty bad. I owned one for a year before basically having to beg a local store owner to take it in a trade. Get an amp/ DSP that is a little higher quality maybe?

Hey guys in the last 3 weeks I ****ed all the girls in this picture, what do you think?

IIRC, there should be a JMP preamp on there. Use that. If not, just use some boosted Marshall. If that can't get you anywhere, sell it and get a pocket Pod.

That really isn't helpful

TS you've ****ed your EQ... instead of maxing the others, try turning down the bass...

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.
