the only tip i can give is to work on alternate picking almost to the point where you master it...that way everything else will open up...legato sweeps and everything else will become second nature because your picking is so strong....working on your picking strengthens every asset of your hands..

Very nice skills my friend. Loving the riff at 35 secs in or so! Also digging them squeals at the intro too! I love the more Hendrixy kind of feedback bits the most. And that spaceship computer riff at 40s is mental haha! The sweep picking is insane and very clean and tight, but it's just not my cup of tea as it were! But overall, it's something a bit different.

Great job man!

vai meets hendrix is a good description. I loved it it sounded so experimental and honestly reminds me of the chaos of an acid come up when you get really paranoid. I think a good song sparks feelings in me and reminds me of certain times in my life, and this guitar piece I can definetely relate to the paranoia of a bad acip trip. the guitar technique was amazing because there was actually good melodies in there, unlike cheesey 80's guitar solos which are all technique and no melody. what kind of effects/amp do you use in this song?

thanks man....i just used my little line 6 spider amp...for the trippy delay part i just cranked the rotary speaker effect all the way and wala-repeat repeat lol...and the rest is just guitar straight through the amp and harmonizing licks by overdubbing

just saw the flying home video...that was some amazing orchestration-you corresponded the music to the video images perfectly..... i love the interaction between the guitar riff in the background and the melodic piano and synth lines...very mood influenced spacey and tranquil at the same time...overall a great new age type of vibe with great instrumentation and blending of sounds and textures...very good composition and nicely done

Good fun. Bonkers, but fun. I like some parts better than others but it changes all the time so that's fine. I'm not a fan of endless shredding but your solo doesn't outstay its welcome, or have 'too many notes'.

that was freaking awesome dude...i totally got a creeping death(ride the lightning vibe from the intro)the rest is just pure mayhem....i like it!I've always been partial to heavier things like this where there are alot of orchestration and syncopated changes while still maintaining the density....The solo was very good also....very phyrigian influenced...i also like how you harmonized parts of the solo....that was pretty badass....this whole thing reminded me of early metallica, rust in peace era megadeth and some slayer thrown in for good mix...the solo was a nice icing on the cake...nice job man...
