Hideaway featured as a bonus track on the album Couldn't Stand the Weather.

The song starts out at about 120-125 bpm shuffle, (about the same speed as Pride & Joy)

at 0:47 it goes to a (syncopated?) riff with the bass and guitar...where it appears the tempo has been sped up slightly.

same thing at 1:52

the guitar breaks heard at 1:30 and 2:35 seem to be played at a faster tempo, or as if SRV is playing 4 measure phrases compressed into 3 measures.

I have not actually put a metronome against the original recording, however when practing to a metronome, the 125 bpm is way too slow for the aforementioned parts.
MARTY FRIEDMAN--"It’s a lot easier to be technical than it is stylized; it really is... But I think it’s a lot more rare to have someone who’s really got their own sound because that’s something you can’t practice."
