Hey guys,
I got a guitar last year and starting teaching myself songs that I liked but I always played the songs in full speed, I never started slow and build up my speed so now when learning new songs I'm always inaccurate and make a lot of mistakes. Should I start from the beginning again and do things slower and accurate or just start learning songs in a slower tempo?

You don't have to start over. Just start learning things more efficiently (read: slowly). Make sure everything is clean and tight.

exactly. also look out for bad habits you developed (like tension in your hands or wrong use of techniques, ...) and adjust them now so you don't have to slow down again in the future. this happened to me lots of times.
