Wire thickness. High impedance cables don't really have the ability to handle the load of an amp output. For a short time, probably, but not for regular use. It's sort of like, would you use a guitar cable to power your washing machine? That's a big stretch of a hyperbole, but puts it in pretty basic terms.

guitar cables arent as thick as speaker cables..! they cant handle the power between head and cab!
