I'm wondering which of the two guitars is better, and why is there a price difference?

One has a Humbucker pickup (is it a good pickup?), or is the one with 3 single coils better?

Thyankyou!

They're the same guitar other than the one has a humbucker and the other has three single coils. The one with the humbucker is going to be more versatile, but the one with three single coils is going to be the more traditional Strat. Neither is better - they're literally the same guitar, other than the one pickup. The one is probably more because it comes with a gig bag.

The pickups in both are decent enough. Mexican Strats are fantastic for the price. Can't go wrong with either.

In the end, the only question is: what bass would Jesus play?

I think he's a Fender Jazz guy.

This. Posting a new thread won't change the answers.

I've heard that Humbucker Strats aren't that good though, If I want a Malmsteen sound (but also other music) which one is recommended? Three single coil or humbucker?

Ingredients needed for Malmsteen tone:

SSS Strat
His signature pickups
His now discontinued OD pedal
Vintage marshall plexi or his limited edition signature marshall head
Marshall cabs.
Spotlessly clean technique.

Humbuckers will not let you sound like him. If you want Malmsteen go for the single coil one. Just like the OTHER THREAD ON THIS SAID.

The Malmsteen sig guitar is brilliant. I don't care for his work, but his guitar is truley beautiful to play. If you want his tone, get his guitar.
