Hey, I'm looking into creating my pedalboard. The ones I've looked at so far I've only looked at the Suhr Riot! pedal and the TC Electronic Polytune, I was planning on a reverb, delay and possibly wah. After reading about the problems with large true bypass pedalboards, would it be worth looking into getting buffer pedals for any/all of the remaining pedals or is it not really a large enough setup for any problems to occur?
Get your board together first and then see if there's some tone sucking that could be fixed with a buffer.
That's not many pedals. You probably won't have an issue. As mentioned above though, you won't know for sure until you put it together.
OK, cool, I didn't think it was a lot. Cheers guys
I wouldn't get hung up on the whole issue. I've had pedalboards with loads of pedals at times, some of which have been pretty bad. Sure, they sounded horrible when turned on but I rarely had issues with them when off!!
