been a long time since I've been here but I need some advice...

I've had a Fender Super Reverb 4x10 (silverface, 1974) standing in my bed room for the past year but barely played it - it's too loud to play at home and too heavy to drag around to performances (where I used a borrowed transistor Fender Ultra Chorus and my own valve Fender Blues Junior). so I'm trying to get rid of it.

in the ad I placed online I said I wanted to trade it for a head plus 2x12 cabinet (a Fender Bandmaster is my dream amp) but basically I'm looking for a vintage amplifier (either combo or head + cab) that is not too heavy and has tubes, nice cleans so it can take pedals and - or so I thought - 2x12 speakers.

I then got an email from a guy who offered two amps for trade:
- Fender Deluxe Reverb RI (upgrade with Weber Speaker)
- Fender Pro Junior (tweed, USA early 90s)

anyone who has any experience with these? and what do you guys think about the trade? I've checked the websites and moneywise it would be a winner for me in both cases...

lemme know!

Most people don't give a shit about tone... We are the exception, not the rule.

I probably am a bit more rule than exception though
