can anyone tell me how to find my vocal range im bit of a dork when it comes to singing and dont really know a great deal

Sit at a piano and start somewhere you can sing comfortably, then go as low as you can and as high cleanly. This should be done after you warm up because you'll get a bit more range if you're vocal chords are warm. Ideally you want to play some sort of pattern in descending half steps, like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Or in Solfege since you sing, do, re, mi, fa, sol, fa, mi, re, do. Or just start on C below middle so you can get an idea and go C, D, E, F, G, F, E, D, C. Then the same pattern a helf step down.
