Fender 212r Frontman or Fender Mustang 3. I finally got rid of the line 6 and need a new amp. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Frontman gets my vote, but I would invest in a used tube amp, or a higher quality solid state amp. Just my opinion of course.

Personally I wouldn't buy either, I'd set my sights a bit higher, but out of the two the Mustang III is probably best. They'll be replacing the Frontman series in the near future and have completely blown Line 6's out of the water (at that price range anyway).

When you say higher quality solid state, or set my sights higher, what would you recommend?

genres, budget?
HILT!

Where's Waldo?

I would go with the Mustang, they're killer modeling amps(albeit there's a bit of a learning curve if you really wanna sculpt your tone) for the price. What kind of stuff do you play though? If you don't really use effects you'd probably be better off with a valve amp.

Nah, I prefer to tune lower. My tunings usually go into weird Hebrew symbols.

It depends on your budget to be honest.
