No, don't do this, your switch will end up doing nothing and you'll be using both pickups allllllll the time. Connect the tone control at the output of the volume control (middle terminal).

But for dimarzio colours, swap the black and red wires over.
So it'll be red to the selector, black and white to the split switch and green and bare to earth (back of pot).

he's right on the one tone making both on all the time, put it after the volume (as he said)

oh lol i also just read that yoru push pull splits both pups... i was gonna suggest that :P
