What did you think I'd do?
Spend all my nights and weekends, chasing after you?
And how did you think It'd be?
Is this the life you planned or are you just settling?

But in my life, There's nothing left to prove
and even less to do.
And in your dreams, when apathy recedes
is there room enough for me?

Well what were you expecting?

So it's been a while since I posted anything but I thought I'd put up some of the newer things I've been working on. Hope you hate it.

(A little aggressive to just be starting out, this is something I would use more in the climax of the poem, but that's just my opinion)

(This is a great deal different from the first verse, I'm not sure I would put them together like that. At first its more like "**** you" and now it's faded to "if you want me, I'll take you. This verse is still awesome though)

Ty for the comments and crits My thoughts through this were of a relationship souring after the new love wore off and both partners too scared to admit that it's over.
