So i was strolling through my local supermarket when I spotted this little guy:

Sorry that is all the lobster porn I have for you sick freaks out there.

I also picked up one of these:

If you heard my rave about this amp the other day, then the following will seem redundant. It just sounds superb. I am a classic rock/southern rock/country guy and this could not fit the bill more perfectly. I made 3 seperate trips to GC to test out this amp to make sure I wasn't just having noobgasms, but the amp just impressed me beyond belief each time.

One thing that has really impressed me is the cab. I hear nothing but ill remarks with regards to peavey speakers but this one sounds killer.

To put it into perspective, I used to own an avatar with an ET-65 and V30(warehouse). It was extremely woofy and loose sounding, and I could never get enough clarity out of it. There was also a mid spike no matter what. Not to mention it could not cut through worth a damn.

This cab sounds crystal clear and present, with no mid spike. The bass is also tight and punchy as hell, just like a closed back should sound. I love the configuration of the speakers, I wish every manufacturer offered this option. Plus it can be converted into an open back.

This quarter stack looks sexy as hell, and sounds phenomenal. My GF who despised my other amps commented on how awesome this one sounds. I will not go into details about the head itself, you could refer to my last post or ask questions. Cleans=sex, OD=sex. And sex is what you will get once you let people hear its orgasmic tone.

Good grab, HNAD. I love my C30 112. Wouldn't mind getting one of the older C50 or 100 heads. You wouldn't happen to be near Memphis would you? I know a C30 head and cab were in my local GC not too long ago.

That is exactly the one I got. lol

Cool. HNAD. I would've looked at one of these more seriously when I got my amp but I got a much better price on my laney than I'd ever get for a peavey since I'm in the UK

HNAD!!!

Piano dick had some good parts, but should have said "As the business man slowly gets boned", would have accented the whole dick feeling of the album

HNAD! That Peavey looks definitely vintage and really cool. May the amplifier serve you well for many years.

Ha! Small world I guess

I'm sure you're the only two in the entire northern hemisphere with that particular amp and cab combination.

All sarcasm aside, glad you enjoy the amp.

And the tragically undersized canine.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Feel free to express yours so I can make an informed judgement about how stupid you are.

I don't have that head and cab, I've got the combo. The small world comment was because I was in the exact same GC about a month ago and played that very amp.

All sarcasm aside of course.

No, that would be me and the Tone King.

I approve of your purchase.

I have an old 80's Peavey cab (matches my VTM) with G12K-85s, and it rocks hard. People say Peavey cabs aren't built to last or whatever, but mine is a tank.

I hear you, I was really interested in the laney but they don't appear too often on ebay in the US, while the classics are a dime a dozen.

And chip, I do not gig at the moment. However, this amp has me wanting to do nothing but play guitar. Keep me updated on your gigs though, would love to support a fellow UGer.

Will do, you can follow us on facebook if you want. Band info is on my profile.

If you ever want to start gigging just give me a shout. I know a lot of bands around the area so if I see anyone looking for a guitarist I can throw your name into the hat.

Just read your info, I am working on my masters in accounting. Gave you a like on facebook. Just keep me in the loop about bands looking for a guitarist.
