Talk About, I Know, Now It's Over, Skinned Knees and Gapped Teeth, Bad News, I Just Do - Dear and the Headlights.

I absolutely adore everything else they've written.

Anything after So Wrong, It's Right by All Time Low (and even some songs on that album) I HATE.

Oh, and pretty much all of Scurrilous by Protest the Hero.

Low - The Lamb, and Time is the Diamond. The whole of the album "Trust" is pretty solid, but those two tracks are enough to knock it down from a 9 to a 7, which is a shame because it is a fantastic piece of work otherwise.

Also Hymn for Him from Submotion Orchestra.

Most of the new RHCP album, especially the adventures of raindance maggie. The chorus sounds like Disney pop trash.

Oh, and pretty much all of Scurrilous by Protest the Hero.

It took me forever to get into Scurrilous which is weird since I loved Kezia and Fortress immediately after listening to them.

I still don't think it's nearly as good as those two albums but Tandem, Dunsel, Cest La Vie, and Hair-Trigger are all great songs IMO.

Aw that's my favorite song by them. Simplistic yet groovin'.

David Bowie - "Fame"
John Lennon - "I Found Out" album version (The demo version was better.)
The Beatles - "Eleanor Rigby"
Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Porcelain"
Foo Fighters - "My Hero"
The Mars Volta - Half of De-Loused (though "hate" is a strong word for that).

C'est La Vie and Hair-Trigger are generally the exceptions. Dunsel and Moonlight are sometimes alright, but mostly that whole album is meaningless shredding. And Rody was disappointing as well.

Hmm. Maybe it's because I am a bassist . The bass on that track absolutely rocks and I love the chord progression. It does so much more for me than some trash metal riff from the 80's.

Bladecatcher by Mastodon, only song I genuinely dislike by them. It makes Colony of Birchmen sounds godly by comparison but it's still a song I can't get into.

Tsumi to Kisei by Dir en Grey

Can't think of any Diru song I genuinely dislike besides this. I don't mind them remaking old songs but at least try and put some musicality into it! And they played it live when I saw them, that's pretty much the only time I've ever just stood stony faced with my arms folded during a performance by one of my favourite bands.

Gorillaz - White Flag

And I love Psychocandy by the Jesus & Mary Chain but some of the tracks are ruined by those ****ing screeching noises.
#37
The Tallest Man on Earth - Shallow Grave, he's one of my favourite artists but I always end up skipping that song. The live version is pretty good though. Going to see him next month

Yeah, I agree with the last part. It seemed like they made the guitar parts complicated for the sake of being complicated. And I thought Rody sounded great, but for the most part, the actual lyrics were pretty bad. They seemed more personal to the actual band I guess, but I liked the lyrics that Arif wrote on Kezia and Fortress much more.
