just out of curiosity, what are the current gas prices in your country? and how often do they raise the price?

diesel 1.45€/l (8.13 $/gallon)
euro 95 1.657€/l (9.25 $/gallon)
euro 98 1.692€/l (9.48 $/gallon)

Regular 87 octane fluctuates between $1.08 - $1.30 CAD in Winnipeg.

I filled up at 1.17 last night, but that was outside of Winnipeg. Its usually a few cents cheaper in the city (depending on the station).
#11
It's about $3.59 in south central Pennsylvania.
Winnipeg... I was there about a year and a half ago. Interesting city
#13
£1.34 a litre at the moment.

3.79 (rounded up) litres in a US gallon

so roughly £5.07 - $8.05 per gallon

unless my math is a little incorrect.
#15
about $3.50 a gallon I guess

I'll pretend I can mod your amp but break it instead.

I think I paid somewhere between $3.70-$3.90 a gallon for premium (I think its 93 octane) on Tuesday.

$3.50-$3.70/gal unleaded (87), diesel is closer to $4/gal. I imagine it would be a shitload higher if this place had any public transportation to be spoken of whatsoever, but everybody drives.

We actually have oil reserves Unlike some former empires that fell when their energy source (coal) got replaced by a better one (petrol)

Its not interesting in a good way...

I didn't think Winnipeg was that bad. Here in the states everyone is trying to out do their neighbor. Up there it seems like good enough to get the job done is OK. Not run-down, just very..... utilitarian.

Regular unleaded is about $3.90 per gallon right now in mid-Michigan.

It fluctuates like crazy, some days I'll only pay $3.40, others it's $4 and up. Right now (Or at least when I drove by yesteday) it was $3.54
#28
Am i the only one who notices that it takes two weeks to drop 20 cents but then can just jump 50 cents in a day?
#29
Well, here in Norway it varies, but it's around 2.7 USD per liter.

You better go to Luxembourg to fuel up. (if you happen to be in the vicinity)

i forgot to mention i'm from belgium

To clarify to the others. Here in Belgium around 60-70% goes to the gov.
The perversity is that we pay VAT on the taxes!

Winnipeg is a bit of a dump... I'll be out as soon as I'm done school. It appears that once that happens we will share a profession. Another issue with Winnipeg is that there are very few good jobs for mechanical engineers, unless you are in aerospace.

I work in a petrol station so I get so much abuse from asshat customers complaining about fuel prices, because you know, it is my fault after all

It's £1.41 per litre for Diesel and £1.38 for Unleaded.

We are the most expensive locally, but we're a Texaco so we get our fuel from a company that specializes in fuel. It's a much better quality. Whereas Morrison's gets it from wherever it's cheapest. It's often not as pure.

Around 1,20-1,30 $ CAD/liter, but I live on the border, so we go tank in the U.S.

You got it right.
Nothing against the walloon's personally, just their politicians.

But this is not the thread to discuss politics I guess.

Regular Unleaded can be anywhere from $1.30 per liter on a good day, to $1.50+.
LPG normally hovers around the $0.58-$0.61 per liter.
#38
Petrol is £1.40 a litre, which works out to about £6.30 a gallon, or roughly $10.
#39
bout €1.49 for petrol,1.45 for diesel
