So the last couple days i've been modifying my 30 watt amp.
I've decided that the distortion is natural and good enough to live with for a solid state.
But I have one question...
I would be able to achieve a more in depth metal like tone if I had more EQ settings.
It has the standard treble, middle, and bass.
So, is it possible that somewhere in the Mid section on the circuit board, I could remove one of the resistors, and put a potentiometer in it's place to control a Low Mid?
Preferable to scoop the mids and get a more versatile sound?

It's kinda depends on the circuit. but basically any curcuit allows for a "sweep" pot, which is nice.
