Hey guys I was wondering if there was a way to make my airy scream sound better with Audacity? Any help is appreciated! I just want a way to make them sound better until I get better! Thanks

honestly, a bad take is a bad take, but if you layer it with a few more screams and some clever compression and verb, you can get usable sounds (a side note, if you can get the mic to clip on the way in consitently *key word is consitently* than that can help)

Also, you can get rid of Audacity and get a real DAW

Distortion if used write can enhance screams. Listen to Marilyn Manson. Use it to much and you can sound horrible as well.

You have to pick and choose how you distort. I would always layer some natural with any distorted screams.

If you want to hide it

Copy the same track, lower your scream an octave and compress it
