So I have a fender that came with factory strings gauged at, .045,.065,.085,.110. I need to change the strings but I've had a ton of bad experiences doing so, like creating fret buzz and warping necks. Can you guys tell me whether or not putting on strings with all the same gauges except for a .105 E string will cause any of this?

Thanks, GG

It shouldn't. .45 to .105 is the standard gauge set for a 4-string electric bass these days.
