i dont want to spend more than 150 unless i absolutely have to.
but any way im looking for a delay that has separate expression pedal inputs for both time and number of repeats.
the only one ive seen that has it so far is the moog analog delay but at 600 bucks its way out of my range.

analog or digital dosent matter too much to me i have an ibanez de7 which is pretty sweet and its somewhere in between analog and digital soundwise so something like that would be ideal.

memory boy by electro harmonix..

its a great delay, i love the modulation on the thing.. square and triangle LFO

you can use it with a expression pedal for the time..

the number of repeats is dependent on another knob called "feedback" which give you repeats and a good reverb

a) Would be very surprised if you could get an analog delay that can control both of those via expression pedal in your price range.
Maybe a rackmount? Any that can be controlled by both CC and PC messages can probably do it.
Such as an alesis quadraverb [can be had used for about 100.
Of course you'd need a midi foot pedal that can plug in two expression pedals as well, but that's the way I'd go

If rack mounts sounded fake, why would anyone use them?

Get a good rack delay and you'll wonder how you could've survived without it.

Check out the TC Electronics G Major and the Eventide Timefactor, both of which cost way more than $150.

You're probably not going to find a delay with two expression pedal inputs unless you go for a delay that's MIDI capable, which would allow you to set parameters to the expression pedals.

^the G major is excellent.

Your budget makes it pretty hard TS. I dont think you're going to get anything with those features anywhere near that price. Certainly not new. My advice would be to lower your expectations or expand your budget.

No. They only sound as digital as a digital delay
So cheap ones might.
However, a lot of pros use rack delays, ie John Petrucci, The Edge, etc
And they both [especially edge] use a lot of delay
