Hey guys,

So I am about to start the A2 part of the GCE Music Technology course and my first piece of coursework I am going to do for it is the close-mic recording. For it, I need to record a commercially available piece of music that has the following:

-12 tracks (I'll use about 9 tracks on the drum kit, so a drum kit is essential)
-4 acoustic instruments (Drums and Vocals count as 2, so I need one that has two other acoustic instruments).

I am at a real loss right now, because I don't really know a track that has 4 acoustic instruments in it in the genre I want to do (I want to cover a rock song, as that is the genre in which my chops are most developed).

Thanks in advance,

Aidan.

I was more looking for a track with the instruments in, I can name them, I just can't think of a rock track that incorporates 4.

Don't do life on mars by David Bowie... I tried that and it went terrible.

Unless you have a decent string section and pianist.
All I want is for everyone to go to hell...
