I own a Norman B20 cutaway, and recently I noticed, the bridge has cracked all the way through along where the string pins go. the glue is fine on both sides, there is just a crack. Is this a serious problem? I have no doubt it will be expensive to fix and I am in university so I have no cash... also it is the only guitar I brought and I cant imagine going guitarless for several weeks. Will the guitar be fine until Christmas break? Or should I fix this ASAP?
get it looked at asap
any idea how much it would cost?
Acoustic bridges seem pretty flimsy to me, so I doubt they would charge you a lot for the piece itself. Decent electric guitar bridges only cost about $100, so I can't see them charging over $150 including the maintenance for the guitar as well.
