That's right kids!

I felt like getting into the world of percussion so I grabbed this baby off eBay. Don't really see the need for a 4 band EQ in a drum but it works so...

What neck? This is a drum.

Also, welcome to the Bass Forum, where sometimes you're lucky to just get a picture.

At this point I'd be more surprised if you found me a Christian children's entertainer that didn't sodomize and eat kids.

I don't know why you're all going on about a neck. If this was a bass guitar the neck certainly wouldn't be held up in Australian customs for some unknown reason.

Mmmmm, I've been considering a Bongo for a while now, but I'm still not sold on the sound. Or the looks.

I hope the project plans out well though.

*EDIT*

Ahh, I see, I though you had bought the body with the intention of buying the neck later.

What you are doing makes much more sense.

Good luck with customs, I've heard the Australian customs guys can be...rigorous.

Not as much rigorous as a bunch of randomly suspicious bastards.

But there is no neck, this is a drum. Everything went exactly as planned. I am not in any way disappointed.

They have probably gone:

That's no drum. It's obviously a toilet seat with an H/S pup configuration.

Nice color though.

Nice trophy you've got there!
Damn it! Disable can't use disable to disable Disable's disable because disable's disable has already been disabled by Disable's disable!

Sorry for the bad luck, dude! I hope everything gets sorted out.

I don't hate the non-Stingray EBMM basses at all... in fact, i would LOVE to own a Big Al... the couple Bongos i played all sounded great.

Okay guys, I have a confession to make. Not really a confession since it's something that's been bugging me for awhile but I've always been in denial about it.

**** you gilly, it's not what you think

My sarcasm meter is off the charts!!!!
How much did that drum cost you, if I may inquire?

Does it produce the 'brown' note? Is it muddy at all?
