Hey guys,

Can I have some opinions on the attached song please. My music teacher is leaving after thirty years a the school so me and a few friends are putting a song together and recording it for him. I've been told to write it out in tuxGuitar, then we'll learn it, with any physical impossibilities changed.

So can you guys tell me what you think of it so far? Is it boring, too full, is it crap, etc. and maybe give a few pointers? This is my first time doing this, and because I love my teacher, we want it to be good.

TL;DR

What's this like?

C4C.

Edit: Hold on, I don't think the attachment's working. Trying to fix it.

Track 6 is mixed in too loud, and mixing acoustic/distortion at a live setting usually doesn't work out

The melodies are fine. In the end, instead of doubling the same riff with violin/guitar, you could try harmonizing it

It's a bit short, but I assume you'll extend it

Overall, it sounds ok, room for improvement but not bad
