Package? For me? o.o

Hmm, looks mysterious.

What can it be?

Looks like Ibanez labels!

Oh yes, that's Ibanez allright.

Oh, this is getting exciting!

But, what the heck is this? There's an extra string!
Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce thee to my new Ibanez S7420

I've been GASing for a sevenstring for about a year now, so it's really satisfying to have one to play with now. But wait! There's more!

A microphone, and a mic-stand? What does that mean? It means I've managed to record some decent sounding clips (clips be here http://soundcloud.com/larsoskarantonsen/7-stringed-guitar-ftw) I know I'm not the tightest rhythm-player around, but this sort of does demonstrate how the guitar sounds.
And now for my little review:

I must confess I've had this guitar for a week now, but I wanted to wait until I got my hands on a microphone that could do this guitar justice before I went on the internet and proudly show it off. The guitar is a 24-fret mahogany body with a rosewood fretboard that is absolutely gorgeous. The guitar is in some sort of shiny black finish that I absolutely love. Soundwise this guitar sounds freakin' huge! It has a pretty nice bottom-end to it that gives me a nice chugging sound whenever I palm-mute and abuse my low B to death. Lead-wise I find that the guitar is up to par with my JS100 guitar, if not even better in my humble opinion.

Thanks for reading my thread guys

great, now i want a 7 string

7s are sweet, and there is (almost) never a wrong time to get one, as they can do every thing a 6 can, plus more.

Back on topic, HNGD! Looks pretty sweet too.

Almost...

The extra thickness of the neck can limit you in chord playing, thumb over neck technique, and just speed in general. But they can still accomplish other things though.

7 string Ibanez with a ZR? Is it Japanese?

This model is made in China I believe. If I'm wrong, then it's probably Indonesia.
