Recently bought a Vox V847 Wah off a mate.

After a while it started to like make a crackling noise through the amp at about half way when using it... not too sure what it is or if it is fixable or even if it just meant to be like that, anyone know anything about this??

Have you opened it up? Sounds like there may be some loose wiring that is being jostled by the mechanical elements of the pedal.

Please let me know what your solution ends up being. I just bought a non-working one of these on ebay that I'm hoping to fix when it comes in. I'd like to know what kind of issues are typical of the unit.

Tomorrow I'll be opening it up, and i'll post what the problem seems to be tomorrow aswell. I doubt it'll be something major that I can't fix myself.

Sounds like a scratchy potentiometer, an easy fix with contact cleaner, or if you know how to solder you can just replace the pot entirely.
