So I have this amp, a Holmes T-75 (old run-down local amp company I think), that has the ground part on the power cord pulled off.

How hard would it be to replace? I'm trying to get rid of some of its buzzing. I have knowledge of soldering so that wont be a problem.
Is the power chord one of those that come out of the amp from a rubber strain relief? You can open it up, and see that there's three conductors inside (live, neutral, and earth). Using a continuity tester, write down which connection on the plug goes to which wire connector inside the amp. Take pictures of every step so it can be traced back if you get stuck.
Call me "Shot".
