Favourite Artists:
It varies. Right now my playlist shifts between Elliott Smith, CCR, Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Damien Rice, Grant Lee Buffalo, James, Hurt and more.

Most Inspirational Writer:
John Donne, who wrote the first poem I ever fell in love with. G. K. Chesterton, for recently reminding me how magical writing can be. W. H. Auden, for bringing tears to my eyes for the first time reading a poem, G. M. Hopkins, for teaching me that writing can have beat and fun to it. William Blake, for the classics and for writing the first poem I ever properly critiqued. William Carlos Williams, Robert Creeley and Charles Bernstein, for changing my mind about what poetry should be. Pamela August Russell, for the modern twists and the great humour; Yehuda Amichai and Yona Wallach, for writing in my own language, like I never could. And many more. I can never get enough inspiration. But mostly, and honestly, my inspiration comes from my friends who write and share their writing with me. Really. You know who you are.
