Hey guys I need your suggestions. Ive been playing for a good 7-8 years and Ive always had sub 300 dollar acoustics. I want a really nice guitar for under 1200. I want a guitar with a big sound. I really like Tommy Emmanuel. I like that a guitar with lots of bass response and clear high end. I havent made it out to guitar center yet but I wanted some ideas of some really good guitars to check out.

I own the Takamine EF341sc and i really love it nice sound unplugged and even better plugged in. Beautiful look nice eq tuner built in, cutaway, just amazing over all. I paid 1100 new so its right in your range. Def check takamine out there great.

Have you looked at Rainsongs? Great sound plugged in or not, indestructible, light, deep sound and a conversation starter.

big sound usually says dread to me, and blueridge comes to mind. nice guitars, plenty of bass response

all solid sitka over solid mahogany, 1 11/16" nut, gloss finish

all solid adirondack over solid mahogany, 1 3/4" nut, gloss finish

i prefer the tone of this one, but i'm a huge fan of adi and a wider nut.

i also like recording king - more bass response than taks or taylors, traditional tone.

solid adirondack top, solid mahogany back and sides, 1 11/16" nut

there are some very nice guild dreads in your price range worth checking out, although i don't think you can get a new american made one, but their chinese guitars are among the best of the best when it comes to build quality and finish.

if you're only looking for guitar center brands, you might want to check the epiphone masterbilt dreads and breedloves. i don't find rainsongs to have a deep voice compared to other guitars, but you may feel differently.

and there are martins in your price range - both the 1 series and the 15 series. while they won't sound like the iconic martins most people think of, they're not bad if a little frills-free.

I just looked in my Oxford English Dictionary and under "Acoustic Guitar", there was your Avatar and an email address!
