as in value?

i found one for 50 bucks thats over 50 years old. the ad says "silverbell mandolin"

apparently its missing a few strings and otherwise is in good condition.

anyone know anything about them? if there valuable or not? what to look for in a good mandolin?

thanks in advance guys.

also i posted this in the pit but was redirected here. so if its in the wrong place let me know ill post where it should be.
Not sure on the value of yours, but I have a 118 yr old Washburn lute back mandolin that's worth about $800. Not a lot considering it's age. Besides the fact that it's an heirloom from my Mother. And no, it's not for sale.
