I have explored classical guitar quite a bit recently, and I do love the...polyphonic feel to it.
With that said, I am also a devoted electric guitar player and a pedalnerd.
This is probably a crazy idea, but I would love to fuse both passions somehow, but playing the Swan Lake on my Ibanez is techniqually difficult. Luckily, I intend to buy a new electric guitar, and I would like some suggestions on models that would allow for fingerstyle (Not in that Mark Knopfler/Jeff Beck sense, mind you)

So far, the only idea I have is to buy a Stratocaster and replace the neck with a custom Warmoth 1 7/8" neck.

You could always try a Rick Turner Model 1 guitar:

Lindsey Buckingham made a career out of playing one fingerstyle.
