I have a Mesa Boogie Express 5:50, which is a fixed bias amp. I got a pair of jj 6l6gc's. I watched this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD7MpVWMpSU

Before I watched it I thought it was as easy as pulling them out and putting new ones in, but he uses a spray. Do you need to use a cleaner/lubricator spray? Does anyone else use a spray? And if so which one?

Thanks!

deoxit works great. $12 at radio shack. spray the pins and work in. dont spray in the sockets though just in case of some odd event.

so spray pins, push tubes in.
