How do I go about with the fingering for this? I can't even wrap my head around as to how to make this feel moderately comfortable to play.

well, i'd say just barre it and practice slowly. you probably already guessed the barre bit.

19s with the ring, 17s with the pointer

You're probably going to have to smear your fingers across the frets. I would do it like that, with only my ring and index fingers. Switch to your bridge pickup too. It muffles everything so it sounds better.

may want to practice rolling as mentioned above.
i.e. learning how to play diff. strings at the same fret with the same finger.
It takes some finesse to get that sounding clean, but it's same as anything else - practice.
