i like solid state cleans, B.B. king's tone is stellar.
I'm just a kickin' and a gougin' in the mud and the blood and the beer.

Tube Cleans, nothing beats those beautiful Pink Floyd Hiwatt cleans.

Piano dick had some good parts, but should have said "As the business man slowly gets boned", would have accented the whole dick feeling of the album

Maybe it's just because my solid state amp was terrible, but I prefer tube cleans to solid state cleans, from personal experience.

my favorite cleans are in songs like "Lenny" or "Tin Pan Alley (AKA Roughest Place in Town)" by Stevie Ray Vaughan.

So yes, TUBE!

Both actually, depends on the song. For a sharper clean a good SS amp works well.
For a less pristine slightly compressed and broken up clean, nothing beats tube.

EDIT: My favourite clean tones are Metallica's Welcome Home (JC120), PEtrucci's stuff from 6DOIT and later (Mark IV, RK) and Periphery (Axe Fx)

I personally prefer and use a SS for my cleans.

She insists to wear this lights.

I don't think so.

How can I persuade her?

Those are the cleans I like.
Although I do prefer the AC30 cleans.
Probably cause that's what I have.
Have only spent a little bit of time on the Roland Jazz Chorus.
