Ok i am finally making my dream come true of making my very own custom 5150 replica. Myonly dilemma is quality of product. I have an original Baretta body from the 80s but i dont know what type of neck to use, or paint (probably automotive acrylic) and what not. So really im just looking for your own personnal experience with company's jobs on neck quality of their maple banana headstocks.

Allparts, Warmoth, UASC?

Please suggest any and all companies you found nice and give me your reasoning!

Thanks
Seth

The original was a Mighty Mite... supposedly...

the original neck on the frankenstrat with the fender style headstock was a mighty mite, the 5150 had always had a boogie bodies Kramer neck as far as I know.

And the Kramer decal can be found here, if you want it. The 5150 didn't originally have one. http://www.nobozos777.com/Decals.htm

Buy a Charvel neck off of eBay. The original 5150 was an unbranded Charvel Eddie put together himself.
I play Lacrosse, you should too

your gonna need some bicycle paint too

*EDIT* and for dummy single coils look for some broken ones on ebay or something

The only real answer to the SG vs Les Paul debate is to get a Flying V and laugh at all the suckers who don't have one.

if you embrace inaccurate intonation it can be quite arousing.
