I discovered this band like a week ago at one of those Battle of the Bands things. I was shocked when there was a guest female vocalist on only two of their songs. I was even more shocked to find them on YouTube
I tried to start a thread on the Rock Forum but, that never worked. I kinda seen that coming as they aren't entirely a rock band :/ There are dark elements. Almost Black Metal at times. Black like Enslaved, not super black like 1349! A proggy black :p
At the moment they're morbidly underrated but, I think they could make it and become mildly popular in the underground.
Sorry, I've ranted long enough.
Now if you please... listen you might be impressed.

Very reminiscent of Katatonia... not as good as Katatonia, but sound very similar. I'd probably put it down as Gothic Metal or something, maybe just as simple as Alt Metal, or Blackened Metal or anything number of things.

I can understand them not being as good as Katatonia Not as much experience I don't think nd they're still young. Well, they seemed young when I seen them. Early 20's? I don't think they're signed as of yet. I'll need to sheck their myspace. But I don't think they are. But you should see them live! Did you listen to the links? That girl sure has some set of lungs on her...
Yeah! blackened metal seems to fit it ok, kinda overshaddows the acoustic side of them though and I can't just plainly call them "prog." Yeah, they are kinda gothic too Not in that shitty Marlyn Manson kind of way though.

I am unable to listen to anything at the moment due to being on my phone, but if it sounds like Katatonia I think it might be a form of Funeral Doom. If it sounds like Paradise Lost's early stuff than I think it'd be Gothic Metal, but I'm not well versed in those realms.
