Now we all know The Simpsons love to reference films, and whether those references are subtle or blatantly obvious they are brilliant imo. So what are some of your favourites?

A few of mine are -

Pulp Fiction:

The Godfather:

Came in to post the Pulp fiction one

Also, you forgot a Godfather reference, the one where Moe puts ornages in his mouth for Maggie.

i know they referenced Goodfellas in an episode.

I know there are more, I just can't think of them now.

Yeah there's loads of Godfather references in The Simpsons. Also a few Clockwork Orange ones as well as the one above.

Don't mind your make-up, you better make your mind up. - Frank Zappa

Mr. Burns mimicking Citizen Kane.

Homer bumping his head, knocking him out his garage and having paint go down a drain like the shower scene in Psycho.

I can't find the still, but there was almost a shot-for-shot remake of the opening scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark in the clip show.

Mary Poppins..

But it was only funny at the end when she ended up inside the propellers of a passing plane.

Anyone know the one when Flanders in a dream walks up the stairs of a church tower with a rifle and goes
"There's Homer, there's Homer too" and starts shooting lika a madman. I'd assume that's a reference?
sometimes I see us in a cymbal splash or in the sound of a car crash

That's a reference to Charles Whitman, who actually did go into a clock tower with a sniper rifle.
