Ok, so late last year I switched out the tone pot on my 80's Yamaha strat copy because it broke. I also switched out the stock bridge single to a humbucker from a first act overtone because I had one laying around and couldn't afford a different hum. The original pot was a 250, the new one is a 500k. I had all of this done professionally. now whenever i touch the the tone, the bridge completely goes silent, and there is already a very noticable difference between the neck and mid pickups and the bridge.

so, I gues my questions are:
1.) Is it the pickup or the pot,
2.) how do I fix it.

Thanks,
Jimmy
