I would take the ME25 out of the equation (it sucks tone) and run the guitar through the spider on the amber metal settings and maybe Bass 6-7, Mids, 6-7, highs 4-5.
Every spider I ever play the highs are buzzy and not great so I try to keep them low. Also put on a little delay or reverb just to fatten the sound up.

get your mids in there!! granted the spider is not that great of an amp, mids are the key to cutting thru the mix and really making the solo stand out a little more. delay can really help too.

Second this, only way to make a spider sound good is mids, even then, meh.
